Who is Conducting IAT 2025

New Courses Offered

IAT 2025 introduces a radical eligibility change! Age now determines eligibility: General/OBC candidates born on/after Oct 1, 2000, and SC/ST/PWD on/after Oct 1, 1995, qualify. No Class 12 year restriction, broadening opportunities for older aspirants!

Date of IISER Aptitude Test (2025)

Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) will conduct the IISER Aptitude Test, or IAT 2025, on May 25. The online registration process will begin on March 5 at iiseradmission.in.

Reservation Policy

Reservation policies as per Government of India rules include SC (15%), ST (7.5%), OBC-NCL (27%), PwD (5%), EWS (10%), and Kashmiri Migrants (3 seats per IISER). EWS/OBC-NCL certificates must be post-April 1, 2025.

Application fees: ₹2,000 for General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories; ₹1,000 for PwD, SC/ST, and Kashmiri Migrants/Pandits/Hindu Families; ₹12,000 for Foreign Nationals. Ensure correct category selection while applying.

Compensatory Time

Candidates with at least 40% disability or difficulty in writing (as per RPwD Act, 2016) are eligible for one-hour compensatory time in IISER Aptitude Test. Misuse of this provision may lead to disqualification and admission cancellation.
