1. DISHA Scholarship: This scholarship is sponsored by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, and is available for all the students admitted to the 5-year Integrated M.Sc. Programme at NISER through NEST who are not getting any other scholarship. The scholarship amount is Rs. 60,000 per annum and the mentorship or contingency grant is Rs. 20,000 per annum. 
2. INSPIRE Scholarship: This scholarship is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and is available for the top 1% of students in the board examinations at the Class XII level who are pursuing courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at the B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc. and Integrated M.Sc. levels. The scholarship amount is Rs. 80,000 per annum and includes a summer research fellowship of Rs. 20,000.
