IAT 2024 Final Answer Key:
The answer key for the IAT 2024 was released on 9th June 2024. However, there were many questions whose answers were displayed incorrectly. An objection form was also released to suggest the correct answer. Hence, the final answer key is awaited. It will be released on 21st June. You will get to see your results on the official website of IAT. The step-wise process for viewing results is given below:
- Visit the official website for IAT.
- Click on the ‘IAT 2024 Results’ tab.
- You will be directed to the results page.
- Enter your login credentials. Submit the details.
- You will get your result on your screen.
- Click on the ‘Save’ button to download the result.
- Keep the result with you as it will be used during the counselling process.

The tentative total number of seats available for the 5-year BS-MS (Dual Degree) and 4-Year BS Degree Programs across all IISERs is 1933.
- Will I get the IISER of my choice?
The allotment is based on the availability of seats in respective IISERs, your rank in the merit list, and your preferences.
- What is the ‘Float’ option?
The float option allows a candidate to be allotted an IISER/program that is higher on their preference list (if any) than the one allotted in the current round, in subsequent rounds (if any). During counselling, the float option has been enabled for all candidates.
- What is the ‘Freeze’ option?
If you are satisfied with the IISER/program allotted to you in any round and do not wish to float, you can freeze your offer upon the fee payment. The freeze option once exercised is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances.
