IAT 2024 Syllabus:
The syllabus for IAT 2024 primarily follows classes 11th and 12th NCERT. It covers almost all topics, including physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology.

IAT 2024 Exam Pattern:
This is a computer-based exam, and question types are only MCQs. The subject-wise marking scheme will be:

The exam will be 3 hours long. Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and -1 will be deducted for one incorrect answer. The question paper will be in English. You can attempt any one in biology and mathematics. However, we advise you to attempt all four sections in order to score high.
The difficulty level of IAT is near JEE Mains (a little more than that) while far below JEE Advanced and NEST. Are both Math And Biology sections compulsory?
The common problem of PCB and PCM students is that both the Maths and Biology sections are in the IAT question paper. These sections are not optional. However, since both PCB and PCM students appear for the exam, if you skip one of these sections, your result should not be hampered much.
However, note that if you attempt both sections, your chances of getting selected are greatly enhanced. But how can a PCB student solve the maths section and vice-versa?
