IAT 2023 Cutoff marks

IAT 2023 Cutoff Marks

In this blog, we will tell you the prediction for IAT 2023 cut-off. As all of you are aware that for the last two years, our prediction has been very, very accurate with an accuracy rate of more than 95% accuracy. With that experience, we have collected valuable data from all of you. So we have compared the data for 2022 and 2023.

(Special thanks to every one of you for sharing your insights.)

Here are some of the graphs.

All the data is uploaded on the telegram channel which you can join and see the responses for yourself.

Before going further check this out, if you are preparing for IAT 2024 – How to prepare for IAT & NEST 2024 – IISc, IISER, NISER

Now, coming to comparing the difficulty level of IAT 2022 to 2023.

As you can see in this overall data here for IAT 2022 overall, the difficulty level was 6.74 out of 10, but for 2023 the difficulty level was 6.26.

So overall, the paper was actually a bit easier than IAT 2022 paper and it was easy to moderate level from what data we have got from all of you.

Secondly, there have been increases in the registrations. The biggest factor for the increase in the registration of IAT 2023 is that IISc Bangalore is taking admission to its 4-year BS programme as well as IIT Madras is taking admission to its 4-year BS medical science and engineering programme via IAT 2023.

As a lot of students present at the exam centre verified that they have applied because of IIT Madras or IISc Bangalore. Thus, the number of registration has gone really, really up.

So, we can conclude that this paper was easier and the number of registrations has increased due to IISc Bangalore and IIT Madras.

Hence, we think that the cut-off marks are obviously going to go a bit higher than IAT 2022.

For each of the categories, the minimum marks are given below to get in order to get any of the IISER.

(Disclaimer: This data is not for 1st to 4th round of counselling. This is to get a general idea of the marks to predict your admission into IISERs.)

The data is given below.

(Out of 240 Marks)

Category  Marks
General  100-110
OBC 75-85
EWS 75-85
SC 65-55
ST 30-40

.

So if you’re getting this many marks in IAT 2023, you have a very high chance of getting into any of the IISERs by the end of the counselling.

Now let’s see the cutoff for various categories and various IISERs, IISc Bangalore and IIT Madras.
