Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have completed any science graduate under the 10+2+3 pattern and have Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Psychology, Computer Science, Statistics, Forensic Science, Geography, Geophysics and Geology as the main subject (combination of at least three of the subjects) at the Under Graduate level with minimum 50% marks from any recognised University/Institute. OR Candidate who has completed any graduate MBBS /BDS /B.Tech. /B.E. /B.Pharm. degree with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply.

Osmania University Common Entrance Test (OUCET)-
Osmania University conducts OUCET for admission to its Master’s program in Forensic Science. The exam assesses the candidate’s knowledge of relevant subjects.
Eligibility criteria: Minimum 40% marks are required in undergraduate. Candidate must have passed B.Sc. degree in the concerned subject as an optional and must have studied a minimum of 24 credits in that subject. or Candidates must have studied Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at B.Sc and any one of the life sciences subjects must have also been studied as optional for a minimum of 24 credits at B.Sc. level from a recognized Institute/ University. or Candidates, who studied Physics and Chemistry for a minimum of 24 credits each as optional at B.Sc. level (or at least four papers of 100 marks each in an year wise B.Sc. programme.), are eligible for M.Sc. Biochemistry and M.Sc. Forensic Science programmes. Candidates must have passed the examination compartmentally and secure the required percentage of marks or equivalent CGPA are also eligible. SC/ST Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination.
