What are the minimum eligibility criteria for IISc UG programs?

  1. Minimum Grades:
  • Secure at least 60% in 12th standard.
  • SC/ST candidates only need to pass class 12th.
  1. Required Subjects:
  • Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are MUST in 12th.
  • You can have additional subjects like Biology, but PCM is compulsory.

If I Meet The Eligibility Criteria, How Can I Get Admission Into IISc?

IISc accepts scores for the following national-level exams for admission into the BS program:

  1. JEE Mains
  2. JEE Advance
  3. NEET-UG

Hence, if you don’t appear for JEE, you can still get selected through the NEET and IAT channel for the BS programme.

The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is a computer based test conducted by IISER and the scores of IAT is accepted for admission into IISER, Indian Institute of Science and IITM.
